The Mars One design project was created as my entry to the ICAD upstarts design strand. I was successful in this strand with a high score of 14/15.
I choose to do the Art Direction strand in which I was also successful in getting a place.

The brief was to create an awareness poster based around the effects of driving on prescription drugs. I decided to look directly at the effects and try to recreate them by creating a poster that plays a trick on your eyes.
When you stand near the poster you can only see the pattern but as you get further away you can read the copy.
The principle of activism has been lost to on-line campaigns that are more about narcissism and imitation than making a real change. The purpose of these books are to encourage people to get out marching rather than clicking a mouse. This project consists of two different books.
Activism is the first book. The tone of the book is loud and it has a grungy feel. I wanted the book to shout at people to take action again. I based my concept and visuals on the picket signs that have been used in protests throughout history.
The second book is about slavktivism. The tone of this book is quieter and it has more structure. I gave the book a slightly digital aesthetic and based my concept on viruses and binary code. I used a lighter coloured paper stock to give it a cleaner on screen feel.

For this brief I had to create an identity and promotional material for our agency Cannes week.
Create branding and promotional material for agency week in DDFH&B. The concept for this campaign stems from the people I work with. I collected and photographed objects from peoples desks that I thought said something about their personality.
